Biography
Tatsuya “1803gi” Watanuki is a Japanese player.
2019 Japanese Nationals was the beggining of his track record. Tatsuya managed to obtained a Top 32 and (consequently) a Day 1 invite to Washinton D.C. Sadly, he couldn’t attent.
Known for using original teams, Tatsuya reached quarterfinals of the 2022 JP Nats using the uncommon core of Kyogre and Groudon paired with unusual Pokémon like Golissopod. You can learn more about this team and its evolution in Tatsuya’s warstory.
A very similar team captured everyone’s attention in London. In his first World Championship, he top cut and finished 17th after a close set versus the (also) Japanese player Ko Tsukide.
